Dear Mr. Hebert:
On 2/17/89, a fire safety inspection was conducted at your
business, A.S.G. Auto & Truck Dismantlers, 4248 Lincoln Blvd.. During
that inspection. it was noted that a Spray Booth had been constructed
within your building.
The construction of this enclosure is a violation of both the
Uniform Fire Code and the Uniform Building Code. The construction
was done with out a building permit or inspection to ensure compliance
with.minimum code standards.
The enclosure does not meet minimum standards and is in violation
of Sec. 45.203 of the Uniform Fire Code, and pursuant to Sec. 2.204c
of said code, YOU ARE HEREBY ORDERED TO STOP USE OF ANY AND ALL
OPERATIONS INVOLVING THE ABOVE AFORE MENTIONED ENCLOSURE.
You have 3 O days, from the -date of this Notice, to dismantle
and remove the illegal construction from the building. Failure to
comply WILL result in further action being sought against you. A
copy of this Notice will be sent to the County Building Dept. for
evaluation of your failure to comply with other county regulations.
If you have any questions concerning this or any other actions,
contact the station during business hours.
