Butte County Assessor's records indicate that you own or control the property. On August 26, 1998, an inspection was made regarding the complaint and the following conditions were 'observed which are in violation of the California Health and Safety Code, Section 17920.3 (a) 5,12; (b) 2, 3,; (g), (g) 3; which pose health and safety hazards to the occupants and render the dwelling substandard. This letter is your thirty (30) day warning letter to correct or abate the following violations: Lack of hot water running to shower & sink in bathroom. 2. . Infestation of insects and rodents (roaches and mice). 3. Defective or deteriorated flooring in bathroom, kitchen and laundry porch. 4. Defective stairs and guard rail at back door. 5. Faulty weather protection around front and rear doors. 6. Exterior siding walls weathering due to lack of paint, and proper maintenance. It is the County's goal to obtain voluntary compliance with the California Health and Safety Code. However, you should be advised that Butte County has an active code enforcement program which provides an effective means of enforcement. A re -inspection will be made to determine compliance. If voluntary compliance with this notice is not accomplished by correction of the above -referenced violations, enforcement may be pursued through the issuance of a citation to appear in the Butte County Municipal Court. cWesley K. Syren August 31, 1998 Page 2 Upon conviction and per Section 41-7 of the Butte County Code, violators may be fined and a Notice of Violation may be recorded which include a description of the action necessary to correct the violation. To comply with the California Health and Safety Code, Section 17920.3 (a) 5,12; (b) 2, 3,; (g), (g) 3; you must obtain all required permits for repairs from the Butte County Department of Development Services, Building Division, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California. You have thirty (30) days to voluntary comply with the above -referenced directions.
