Any contacts with Mr. Jones should be handled with extreme caution, and if he comes in to address clearance requirements, please obtain witness and''accept plot plan with as little comment as possible. If Mr. Jones makes any significant threats, vacate lobby area immediately and request assistance from Chico Police Department (dial 911). Signal others in lobby so that they may also vacate lobby area. Please advise me -prior to any field inspections at Mr. Jones' property. A sheriff's escort is advisable. Scott Rutherford from the Building Division has reported these incidents to the Oroville Police Department. I have requested we.. -.- be kept informed regarding status of investigation and follow"" -up action and/or criminal charges. You will receive additional information as it becomes available. Per Kathryn Primer, he calmly said that if permits aren't issued, he'll shoot people. Per Carl while he was on property, Mr. Jones became irrational, yelling, cussing and threatening him. I'talked to Tom Reid about situation. He said you and Rod ( or Mike Vierra) should discuss situation. Probably D.A. should resolve threat problem prior to us getting involved. See attached regarding my experience with Mr. Jones.
