Mr. Bob �eitb We are again requesting a permit to use a two stage ' regulator system for Dr. Andy Rich's property on Dayton West Rd. ^ ~ ~ Taking into account the total BTU ratings (425,000 BTU) of the appliances and the distance from the tank to the farthest appliance' (approx. 375 ft.) we feel this system is required to deliver a constant pressure to the appliances. � ' Dr. Rich also intends on building a garage/apartment unit in the near future. This addition will increase the demand on the propane system which could result in appliance failure if the two stage system is not in place. On our first request you suggested moving the tank closer to the house. This cannot be done because of the distance requirements we most obey. When Dr. Rich is done building the garage/apartment unit the tank will still be located _ properly. We are setting a 1,000 gallon tank which requires a distance of 25 ft. from a building or structure. If you have any further question, 342-6736. I also spoke with the personnel at Applied Engineering who ran the compaction tests on that fill. Based on the review of site, data from the above people and my experience with expansive materials, it is my opinion that the foundation as planned is adequate for the planned construction. I have, however, suggested that a positive drainage system be installed for the building, i.e. gutters and downspouts, to carry rain away from the foundation.
