Chapter 1, section 103.1 states that it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to make any installation, alteration, repair, replacement or remodel of any plumbing system regulated by this Code except as permitted in section 103.1.2 (See copy Attached) without first obtaining a plumbing permit. Section 103.1.2 does not allow an exemption for installation or repair of shower receptors. Chapter 4, section 410.0 regulates the construction, installation, and testing of shower receptors, whether constructed on site or part of a manufactured assembly. Chapter 1, section 103.5 requires •testing of any plumbing system for which a permit is required by the 1994 UPC, which includes shower receptors.
