Dear Mrs. Cardoza; The above referenced parcel is currently zoned SR -1 (Suburban Residential, 1 acre minimum). This zone allows for a single-family dwelling. This parcel is a. 63 acre parcel which was created before the SR -1 zone, and is considered a legal pre- existing non -conforming parcel. Should the dwelling be catastrophically destroyed it may be reconstructed, provided it will not be placed within the required building setback areas and meets sanitation codes in effect at the time of reconstruction. The setback requirements for the SR -1 zoning are 50 feet from the center of the road and 5 feet side and rear yard property lines.
