On behalf of Public. Works, I would like to request deferred submittals for two aspects of this ,project. ;
L, Wall assemblies for required'one-'and two-hour walls. The project is a "design -build" bid project, . .
and similar to the.metal building and foundation., the actual wall assemblies should be left up'to the
successful bidder and his architect/engineer•to ascertain. The plans clearly indicate the requirement and
location of required protected walls; it would be futile to specify,a particular assembly when the bidder
has many to choose. from,. We therefore request the specific,assemblies to be deferred.'
2. Exterior accessibility details. We have handicapped parking, and show. what might be. a curb. ramp..
However, civil design is. being done by the' County,;and final grades are riot yet available. The-,
transition might actually be flush. We are requesting ramp. details be deferred pending civil design .
documents.'.
