Reference is made to the above noted use permit request currently before your
Corimission for review prior to the initiation of a request for annexation to the City of
Chico.
Please be advised that the Chico Planning Commission's Zoning and Permit Committee
reviewed -this item at their meeting of September 5, 1972 and herewith requests that
conditions similar to the following be attached to the use permitz.

I Section 13260 of the California Water Code provides
that any person proposing to discharge waste within any
region that could affect the quality of the waters of the
statel shall file with the regional board of that region
a. report of the discharge., containing such information as
the board may require. Each report shall be accompanied
by, a filing fee according toareasonable fili . ng fee sche-
duleestablished. by the state board.. Section 13264 further
provides that no person shall initiate any new discharge of
waste prior to the issuance of waste discharge requirements;
the expiration of 120 days after filinga.report of waste
discharge; or the regional board's waiver, whichever occurs
first.

waste -discharge together with the necessaryforins and fil-
