Under, the current zoning designation, five acre minimum lot Sizes are required. The proposed subdivision is consistent with the character of the surrounding land uses The initial study identified the project site as an area of high archaeological significance. In response to mitigation measures recommended, the applicant contacted the California Archaeological Inventory, information Center to request a records check. The Information Center has determined that a archaeological survey is not needed for the project site. However, should anyr historic cultural materials be encountered during project operations, all work should ceasUre immediately pending an inspection of the site and materials by a qualified archaeologist.
