Dear Ms. Tuttl.et
This letter is intended to address :the impacts or con_ceetis you have
expressed in your letter of .Ian. 5, 1984. it is correct that the zoning
was changed from A-5 to 89-1 on the above-rer-erenced parcels It 3s the in-
tent of the developer to develop only a four parcel split on the 6.2 acres
parcel. There exists one mobile home on the front parcel., therefore the
development will only be adding three additional residences. This would
be one residence por 1.6 acres, and should have little or no effect on dis-
placement, compaction and/or over -covering of the 803:1.
The site e contains young almond trees which wil.l: remain, except for the
placement of the residences and a Traversable road. There should be no
chnnge to absorption rates, drainage patterns or ii,arface runoff. Culverts
will bi: placed rit driveway entrances, as required by County of butte Public
Wozks DOpartibens. ' There also will be grime condition of approval; for the _ r
por, celmap from this Public. Works office, which will be required prior to
recording of the map.
With the incroase of three residences to this ptupert:y, it will not;
affect: any ehisting parking facilities. " Tile garages and dtiveways at the
residences will Lake care of any new parking.
hope this answers your concerns to tlse mitigation measures: Please
schedulf we enthisbe oany for the Advisory Agency at your. earliest convenience,
w her assistance to Lhin matLer, please contact this
office.

DISCUSSION OF ENVIItONMVNTAL EVALUATION (continued.)
1b,,e f The proposed rezone Would allow for the creation of up to

in accord6nee with the proposed g., would result in disru

bring about i
an ncrease in water erosion of soils on and off-site,.
This change in the amount of erosion in soils fom surface runoff a

agricultural use cultivated by one or two persons, However, the j
hand is currently not in an agricultural. use and is surrounded by
residential uses, so the loss of potentially prime agricultural
