HomeMy WebLinkAbout040-210-030Knudsen & Son' 40-21-30 a O 1 2 "40 0 i - r August 9, 1984 North Valley Ready Mix' RE: Proposed Knudsen Warehouse Rt 4, Box 529W Chico, CA 95926 Attn: Andy Wood Gentlemen: With reference to the above subject and the proposal by Knudsen and Son to construct a new warehouse of approximately 16,000 sq. ft. and based upon review by Dick Tiller of the Butte County Fire Department and myself, we will allow construction of the building subject to the normal plan check process and subject to the following conditions: (1) Provide a 6' walkway between the loading dock and the East.wall of the new warehouse. (2) Provide a 2HR firewall along the East side of the new building.(& 1W opening protection). (3) Provide a 60' open and clear space between the new building and all other buildings except for a'20' separation from the corner of the existing warehouse on the West side. (4) Provide a water.source with a fire department drafting connection acceptable to the Butte County Fire Department, operational prior to building construction. (5) Loading dock to be restricted to loading and unloading of trucks only. No truck parking permitted at any time. Place a.sign so stating. (6) Comply with building code requirements. (7) Comply with street setback requirements. (8) Provide improvements per Department of Public Works requirements. Fire Protection Requirements/Knudson & Sons Inc./Speedway, Chico PATE: July 31, 1984 We have reviewed the.plans for construction of a newrarehouse at Knudson & Sons, Inc,.' We require the following be conditions of the building permit. East End of Building: 1. Provide a 6 foot walkway between loading dock and new building. 2. Provide 2 -hour fire wall and any openings to be 24hour fire rated. North Side of Building: 1. Provide 60 foot separation between new building and existing.buildings. West End of Building 1. Provide minimum of 20'feet of separation from corner of new building to corner of existing building. Require water source with fire department drafting connection tobbe operational prior to construction of new building.
