RE: Housing Complaint - 9261 Midway, Durham, CA - AP# 040-25-0-048-0
Dear Mr. Roe:
This department received a complaint alleging health and/or safety hazards in
the above listed rental unit. The tenant indicated you are the owner, or agent
of the owner.
On February 26, 1988, I visited the property, and was allowed to make an
inspection of the dwelling. The following conditions were noted which are in
violation of the Butte Count Code, Chapter 19, Section 19-4 Unlawful Disposal
Methods, and the California Health and Safety Code, Section 17920.3 (a)(14),
(b)(2)(3), and (d) and which pose health or safety hazards to the tenants.
1. Waste water from laundry is discharged on grounds.
2. Floor is damaged in kitchen, with linoleum damage, and cracked flooring,
and deflection of floor when walked on.
3. Electrical circuit in store room on N/W corner of rental is inoperative.
Please make the following corrections within 30 days from receipt of this notice.
Obtain any required permits from the Butte County Department of Public Works,
196 Memorial Way, Chico, CA prior to making repairs. Obtain septic tank permit
from the Division of Environmental Health, 196 Memorial Way, Chico, if unable
to tie laundry waste water into existing septic tank.
1. Confine all waste water to septic tank disposal system.
2. Repair or replace damaged flooring in kitchen, strengthen floor so it does
not deflect.

3. Repair or replace inoperative electrical wiring circuit in store room so
it does not deflect.
