Our homeowners board has received numerous complaints regarding the two homes on the corner of Paseo Companeros and Fair Street. It is our understanding that both of these properties are co -owned in a trust. In the past, the County Code enforcement department cited one property. All the occupants did was move all the junk cars and garbage to the other house until it was signed off and the efforts were short lived, at best. There are clearly current code violations now. Hopefully with the County's new nuisance ordinance we can get something accomplished that is long lasting. WE REQUEST THAT ALL NAMES GIVEN BE KEPT IN CONFIDENCE because the neighbors are intimidated and feel threatened by the behavior that the residents. Following is a list of the complaints we have received: rG�'A 1. Two neighborhood family pets have been shot and killed 2. Female children have been cursed at 3. Discharging of fire arms (especially in the middle of the night) 4. The loud revving of motorcycle engines in the night 5. A large gong at house at 408 Paseo Companeros used for target shooting 6. Semi -trailer trucks are parked on the lawns 7. Approximately five inoperable vehicles (junk cars) around the properties 8. Fair Street house has huge stacks of garbage bags on east wall 9. Fair Street house has back yard and side wall being filled with junk 10. Several unfinished construction projects make yards appear to be filled with junk 11. Tall weeds by the street have created a fire hazard 12. Commercial building materials and equipment are being kept in a residential area Please note that these homes have no surrounding fences and are open to Comanche Creek in th rear. Garbage and junk autos are viewed by everyone driving by on a daily basis. Some neighbors are concerned that there is possible drug activity going on based on the number of people entering and exiting the two houses at all house of the day and night. Prior to the arrival of the current occupants Paseo Companeros was a quiet peaceful place to live and raise children. Because of these residents this is no longer true. Most adults will not allow their children to go by those homes, even for the short walk to the water detention habitat area. Anything that you can do to help us change the character of our neighborhood back to the peaceful area it was before these people entered our midst would be greatly appreciated. Several residents have volunteered that they will provide financial assistance to the County to help clean up these properties. Please allow us to thank you, in advance, for your cooperation in helping us to clean up the blight created by the inhabitants of the properties at Paseo Companeros and Fair Streets.
