The chart shows the R -Value of this insulation. R means resistance to heat flow. The higher the R - Value, the greater the insulating power. Compare insulation R -Values before you buy. There are other factors to consider. The amount of insulation you need depends mainly on the climate you live in. Also, your fuel savings from insulation will depend upon the climate, the type and size of your house, the amount of insulation already in your house, and your fuel use patterns and family size. If you buy too much insulation, it will cost you more than what you'll save on fuel. It is further understood and agreed by the Permittee that the doing of any work under this permit shall constitute an acceptance of 616 the provisions contained herein and failure on the Permittee's part to comply with any provision will be cause for revocation of this permit. All excavations shall be backfilled and compacted immediately after work therein has been completed. Trenches shall not be left open farther than 300 feet in advance of pipe laying operations or 200 feet to the rear thereof, unless otherwise permitted by the Engineer. Unless otherwise permitted under the Special Conditions, backfill shall be place and mechanically compacted in such a manner that the relative compaction throughout the entire fill within the County road right of way shall conform to the percentage of compaction as stated below.
