RE: Illegal Occupancy — Substandard House — Cherokee Road, Oroville, CA.— AP#.41-33-063
Dear Mrs. Heald:
This department has received a complaint concerning occupancy of a substandard
dwelling at the above listed location. The Butte County Assessor's records indicate
you are the owner of the property.
Attempts. were made to contact the tenant on May 4, and 10, 1982 without success.
The dwelling appears to be occupied. An exterior inspection of the structure does
not reveal an approved water supply or sewage disposal system, and the structure is
badly in need of repair.
This letter is an official notice to take immediate action to have the dwelling
vacated. Do not permit any person to occupy the structure until an approved water
supply, septic tank and leach field, and all health and safety hazards in the dwelling
are corrected under permit and inspection of the Butte County Department of Public
Works and this department.
Within fifteen (15) days from receipt of this notice, have the structure vacated,.
and boarded up to entry. Prior to undertaking any repairs, schedule a joint .
inspection by the Butte County Department of Public Works and this department at
