The inspection revealed the following items which must be done or resolved to comply with the objectives of the Uniform Housing Code: (1) Verify, to the satisfaction of the Butte County Health Department, an adequate sewage disposal system. (2) Provide maximum sill height of 44" to the window in the small bedroom: (3) The wood stove must be installed per code requirements, including proper clearance to combustibles, proper sized hearth and verify proper chimdey installation. (4) Provide proper steps in the two openings off the rear deck or extend the guardrail across the openings. (5) The guardrail around the decks must have intermediate rails of not more than 9" spacing. (6) Provide a vent for the kitchen sink and verify all other fixtures are vented. (7) Provide adequate underfloor ventilation. (8) Pipe relief valve drain from water heater to exterior of building walls. Please contact this office and the Health Department within ten days, obtain the required permits to do the above work and arrange to have the items corrected within 30 days.
