The shop was constructed without permits and inspections from this office so we were not able to perform the required inspections during construction. We there- fore made a reasonable visual inspection, without going on the roof, under the building, or in the attic and found the shop and conversion appears to conform to the intent of code requirements, except for the following items which must be done or resolved: 1) A permit is required for the conversion of the carport to bedrooms. 2) A separate permit is required for the lean to added on to the garage/shop building. 3) A third permit will be required for the remodel of the workshop. 4) Remove the floor areas in lofts or provide conforming stairs to those areas. 5) Remove all temporary wiring ie extension cords to shop. 6) Obtain Environmental health Department approval for sewage disposal for the additional bedrooms in carport conversion. 7) Comply urith all items determined at time or plan check. 8) This property is in flood zone A and the new construction will require an engineer to establish the flood level and finish floor height. This inspection by the County of Butte does not act as a guarantee or warranty as to the internal soundness of the shop or conversion.
