This building incorporates non-standard Water Heating System
REMARKS
The existing house was built in 1978.
Existing building assumptions are based on Table 7-3 of the
Residential Manual, P400-98-002, and information provided by the
Architect.
CEC default U -values and default SHGC-values were used for all
fenestration. New fixed vinyl windows were assigned a 0.60
U -factor so the Owner has the option to use operable windows.
The water heater and ductwork are existing. Current mandatory
measures do not apply to existing systems.
Improvements to existing house:
1) As part of this work, a new split system heat pump will be
installed.
2) A new setback thermostat will be installed.
