This house does not meet requirements of the Uniform Building Code for wall bracing.
Braced wall lines must be continuos and roof framing must bear on braced wall lines. Please

front wall line which has one braced wall panel.) A licensed architect or an engineer must do
lateral analysis. All requirements are to be on the plans and plans are required to be stamped
and signed by the professional.

The items identified below must be submitted prior to permit issuance. These items were noted
at time of permit application on the PERMIT APPLICATION DATA SHEET.
1. Provide 3 sets of California licensed architect or registered engineer -designed plans.
Please be sure to include on the resubmittal the designer's "wet" stamp, signature,
registration number and expiration date on all sheets of plans depicting the designed
elements and cover sheets of calculations.
2. Pay Balance of Building Permit fees in the amount of $1174.91
3. Impact fees:
3.1. Complete and return the Butte County School Impact fee certification form.
4. Submit a Recorded copy of your Agricultural Acknowledgement Statement.

Subject: Special Inspection - Epoxy -Tie Dowels
Project: Legacy Construction - Sunview Road, Paradise, Ca
Based on a request by Legacy Construction, I have provided a Field Inspection for
installation of Threaded Rod Dowels into ta��a Cap based foundations for a Single
Family Dwelling, on April 12th, 2002 and observed the following:
A. The locations, depths and sizes of drilled holes and inserted rods were in compliance
with requirements of ICBO Report No. ER -4945 and of the structural design, as noted
on the approved set of construction plans. The holes were air pressure cleaned.
B. Dowels were located at two Alternate Braced Wall Panels "1" of the front wall, and
two Shear Wall Panels "A" of the rear wall.

C. The Epoxied Dowels were installed with Simpson Epoxy -Tie ET -22 Adhesive
(ET -22 - 91678911, Exp. 11/03). The installation was provided at air temperature
of 74 degrees.
In conclusion, all installed dowels will be adequate to support the forces required by the
UBC and the structural design. Since a positive connection between the holdown anchors
and lava -cap base is established a re -inspection of dowelling will not be necessary.
