In the review process it was observed that the rear structure on the property is being maintained as a one bedroom dwelling unit. As a condition of the issuance of the sewage disposal permit for the newer house in 1975, a letter of intent was received from the owner of the property indicating that the structure would no longer be utilized as a dwelling unit. Maintaining it as a dwelling unit is in violation of both Butte County Zoning and Sewage Disposal Ordinances. There is not adequate replacement area for the sewage disposal system to this unit.
