suajEc:: Use Permit for Air.:, William Priel - Use Permit 74-7
DATE= December 9, 1976
At the December 7th Supervisorsmeeting, Supervisor £iadigan asked
that the use permit for Mr.. Priel be reviewed in that; the condition
for the installation of curbs, g-.itters, and sidewalks had not been
met.
It is my understanding that Mr. Priel had appealed to the ?tsar
some time ago requesting an extension of tune in which to complete
the insta? 7 a t; rnn of improvements. This extension, according to
Supervisor 'Madigan, was granted for a sic -month period. This was
apparently worked out with the Public Works Department, the
Supervisors, and Mr. Priel and was not brought to the attention
of the Planning Commission. However, it is the Supervisors' wish
to see that that condition is complied with inmediately.
It is my Lnderstanding that. lir.' -IIendonsa and Mr. --Donald are
meeting with fir. Priel,on December- lath to discuss the installation -
of improvements. Would you please make arrangements to either
attend that meeting or receive a report from the representatives
from the. Public ;Forks Department?
The Ordinance procedures for revocation or modification: of a use
permit should be invoked if, in fact, the immediate installation, j
of those improvements have not been smarted by the: applicant

Would. you please write a report regarding this subject and the - ]

SUBJECT: T. H. Priel - Use Permit #74-27? - AP 42-2g-18 19
DATE: December 15, 1976
s
I checked this location during the week of December 6, 1976,
and found curbs, gutters & sidewalks have not been cor oleted .
I
contacted TvIr. Friel and he said that he was not going to
do any work on that condition he
until found out from the
Public Works Department just how they wanted the work done.:
Hal McDonald, Assistant Director, of Public Works, met with
Mr. Priel on December 14 1916, and fir. Priel said he was
not going to do the work until he talked to fir. Savitz.
Chico City Director of Public Works.
1r.. Priel rants to.irain into a city of Chico. serer, but
does
not want to annex into the city. Mfr. Priel says the
city is going to have a big paving project along Ifest Stn
Street and he
wants to wait and, try to do the curb and gutter
work at that time. No date was set for that
project.

three conditions, one of which was:
