The loads and footing sizes are the minimum values to be used for the sup- port structure and are based on the indicated roof live load and a floor live load of 40 Psf. The allowable soil bearing capacity can be determined from a soil test or a consultation with the local building authority for the recommended soil bearing capacity in your locale.
