Building permits are valid for one year and should construction be started but not completed by the expiration.date of the permit, the permit shall be renewed for 1/2 the original Building Permit Fee (plus a $10.00 "Filing Fee"). The renewal permit will extend the Building Permit for an additional year from the original expiration date.
