In order to renew action on an application after expiration, a new application, plans and fees will be required. REQUEST FOR FEE REFUNDS Refunds can only be made upon written request by the person who paid the fee. The request must be made within two years from the date of fee payment on permits not issued,'and two years from the date of permit issuance for permits issued; however, on issued permits refunds can only be made if no construction work has been done. The conversion was constructed by a previous owner without permits and in- spections from this office, so we were not able to perform the required inspections during construction. We therefore made a reasonable visual inspection, without going on the roof, under the building, or in the attic and found the conversion appears to conform to the intent of code requirements, except for the following items which must be done or resolved: 1) Verify all plumbing fixtures in new bathroom are properly trapped and vented. 2) Steps between existing and conversion to have equal risers. 3) Verify adequacy of new roof construction over converted area. 4) Provide additional electrical receptacle on west wall of bedroom. 5) Provide type "B" vent flue for water heater and provide minimum 1" clearance to combustibles. 6) Pressure relief line from water heater to terminate outside building at least 6" above grade but not more than 18". 7) Provide combustion air for water heater from other than bedroom. 8) Access door to water heater must be closed off or provide minimum 24" access door from other than bedroom. 9) Provide attic access and ventilation. 10) Obtain permits and inspections for an approximate 20 X 24 carport built within the last couple of years.
