Mr. Reid discussed the requirements regarding wells, and how to avoid nitrates: There was a discussion of the mitigation measures and one about wells which Mr. Reid said could be changed to include "deep wells and/or well seals may be necessary to avoid excessive nitrate levels in the water supply. It should be a note on the map. Mr. Reid said the first one was not necessary since the State Drinking Water Act does not apppl.y. There would be a requirement to meet the requirements of the Butte Co. Nitrate Action Plan if the project is in the nitrate area. There waa a discussion of what "no -development" would encompass. It would encompass leach lines Mr. Streetei noted the mitigations that should be retained. Only #8, and 9 would be retained as is and #2' with changes.
