The inspection revealed the garage to be framed with trusses and roof sheath- ing in place. The siding has not been installed, but some interior and exterior bracing exists. At the present time, the building doesn't appear to be structurally unsafe; however, the materials have been exposed to the weather for a few years so the building completion or demolition must be accomplished within a reason- able period of time. Before work can continue, new permits will be required and a structural report from a registered engineer will be required to determine the adequacy of the weathered materials and trusses and missingfoundation bolts will have to be installed. Please contact this office within 30 days of the date of this letter and advise of your intentions concerning this structure. Should you have any questions concerning this matter, please contact me.
