A reasonable visual inspection was performed without going on the roof, -under the building, or in the attic and the following items were identified, and must.be completed or resolved: 1) Provide Planning Department approval. 2) Provide compliance with Title 24 disabled access requirements including parking, access to the building, path of travel, and restroom facilities. 3) The proposed usage appears to create what will be a combination of an R-3, and a B occupancy. Provide a full one hour area separation fire wall between the residence and the proposed B occupancy. 4) Structural modifications and remodel must comply with 1994 Uniform Building, Plumbing, and Mechanical Codes, and 1993 National Electrical Code. 5) Comply with any items identified in plan check. 1 This inspection by the County of Butte does not act as a guarantee or warranty as to the internal soundness of said conversion or remodel. It is now in order for you to submit four copies of complete plans to this office including plot plans, foundation plans, floor plans and structural details, apply for the required permits, and pay the appropriate fees. He always did everything in his life to as exacting perfection as any brain surgeon. things went sour in his life, he was "drunk" for one entire month, ...... and in the end cost me my retirement savings and more. Now, I have the opportunity to sell this property and I find the gas furnace was installed with no permit and the interior of the "sun room" was finished off without a permit. The actual building of the sun room by Ginno & Huffman Costractors and the roofing by Lang Roofing were permitted and approved. It is the interior that was finished off without permits. According to my son, the wiring was code or above (he ran heavier wiring then required so his many hand tools el compressors would not be compromised by not having enough electricity running to them). And the fiberglass insulation _ was more than needed by code as he wanted the sun room which he turned into his shop, to be as cool as possible. If you look at the finished product, you will see that at the time he did this, his workmanship was superior. If you need anything torn open•for further inspection, Clint Abbott has been given my permission to do so.
