Since the site is relatively flat, grading and displacement of the soil and subsequent erosion is expected to be minimal and provided to accommodate building pads and to ensure proper drainage. The applicant is also required to, comply with the Building Departments Erosion Control Standards and the project will be required to provide curb, gutter, Sidewalk to control storm drain runoff. Therefore, this impact is not considered significant. 1hs There are no known faults existing within the immediate vicinity of this project site. However, all of Butte Courcy is located within Earthquake Intensity Zone VITl. The applicant will be required to comply with the minimum earthquake building standards identified within the Uniform. 'Building Code and enforced by Butte County Building Deparlme-nt. Therefore, this impact should be fully mitigated. 13a,c Development of this site will result in additional vehicle trips which in turn may add to the cumulative impact on the existing transportation systems.. The addition of six (6) new homes has the potential to create sixty 6) p p y he local p y (9 vehicle tris per da which would add to t transporation system. However this site is subject to a transportation mitigation fee which .has been determined to fully mitigate transportation impacts, this fee is paid when building permits are issued. 14a. Development of the site has the potential to create a negative impact on fire protection. However the applicant will be required to provide for afro hydrant on -'site in addition to providing automatic fire suppression sprinkler systems within the structure as required by the County .Fire Department. Therefore these impacts have been determined to be fully mitigated. 16a,b,c,d,e,f Development of the site will result in the need for expanding pow—, communications, water, sewer, storm drains and solid waste disposal systems. :However these systems are currently available along Sheridan Avenue and the impact will not result in the substantial alteration for a new system and is within the capacity of the related agencies. Recommended Mitigation Measures; L The applicant will be required to pay all transportation impact fees at time of building permit. 2 The applicant shall meet the Butte Couniy Fire Department conditions for fire hydrants-. "Automatic Fire Suppression Sprinkler Systems shall be installed in all residential 'structures in accordance with the Nati6iial Fire Protection Association. Standards as outlined by Article 13d to aid in the detection and control of residential, fires and thus provide improved protection against injury, life lass; property damaage and reduce the demand for County fire Protection.
