Dear Mr. Bolen,
I have.determined that the 100 year flood plain elevation at your
proposed building site is 169.50, N.G.V.D. datum. This elevation
was determined -by -comparing the limits of flooding shown on FEMA
Panel 060017-0100B with the contours shown on the Foster Island
U..S.C.G. & S. Quad map.
The existing ground elevation.:at the lowest point on your build-
ing pad location is 169.20 at the southwest corner of the pad.
Average pad elevation is 169.40.
A bench mark- (point mark on pump house slab adjacent to site) is
at elevation 170.24. The finished floor of your proposed struc-
ture must be NO MORE than 0.74, or 911, below the bench mark to be
at the projected 100 year flood plain elevation.
Enclosed are plats depicting the building site and the elevation
determination.
