That use has long since ceased. I would however, in the future, like to legally convert the upstairs into an apartment. Due to time constraints I decided it was easier to move a mobile home in than deal with the building. As soon as my time allows I will begin the conversion. At present I am attempting to build a convalescent hospital in Carmel, California. Needless to say with the Coastal Commission, traffic impact studies etc., it will be a while before the Chico project gets going. I will however board up the stairs leading up to the apartment and make sure it is not used.
