DISCUSSION OF'ENVIRONMENTAL EVALUATION AE 47-15-42, 44 & 92 This project is a. waiver application to divide 352 acres into an 85 acre parcel and a 20`7 acre parcel;. The land: lase is almost entirely in orchards and will remain so. There will be no si,g-li.fi- cant impacts on the environment as a result of this project 3j. There are currently some drainage and flooding problems along Rock Creek. This proposal will not contribute or be affected by current problems, 20a. This parcel is in an area designated as having high archaeo- logical/historic sensitivity. Since the upper ground has been previously distrubed and no excavation^or construction is proposed. at this time an archaeological survey will not be required. Should future development on this parcel oxpose any historical or archaeo- logical resources all construction should be halted until a qualified profess o:nal archaeologist can examine the site. Appendix P ( b ) TO Butte County Advisory Agency FROM: Planning Director G SUBJECT: Report on Waiver Application of Harry Jenkins, Nord View Orchards, AP 47-15-42, 44, 97 r DATE: March 20, i984 This is a proposal to create an 855 acre parcel and a 267 acre parcel from three parcels. The present, zoning is A-40 (AgritUltUraij 40 acre parcels). The Land Use Plan Map of the Butte County General Plan designates this area as Orchard and Field Crops. There are no specific or community plans for the area. The proposal does not conflict with County Zoning nor any adopted or proposed element of the Butte County General Plan nor any County, specific or community plan.
