INFORMATION:
This manufactured home was installed in June of 1996 on standard
piers with tie downs. The building permit and the elevation certificate
were obtained during the Community Assistance Visit. The established
base flood elevation for this site was 189.17 according to Mer
Consulting. The elevation certificate is based on "construction
drawings." An attached garage was also placed on this property. This
garage is below the base flood elevation.
COMMUNITY ACTION NEEDED:
The County ne,ds to obtain the following information prior to the
November 1.7 , 1998 follow-up visit by FEMA:
1. A copy of the "as -constructed" lowest floor elevation certified by a
registered professional engineer or surveyor.
2. Verification that the structure meets one of the foundation opening
requirements as specified in FEMA Technical Bulletin 1-93. If
openings are not placed as specified in FEMA Technical Bulletin 1-
93, then the openings must be installed.
3. Verification that the openings are installed in the garage in
accordance with FEMA Technical Bulletin 7-93. If the garage does
not have the openings, then a plan detailing how and when the
openings will be installed in the garage walls as outlined in FEMA
Technical Bulletin -7-93 needs to be submitted.

ADMINISTRATIVE PERMIT for TEMPORARY MOBILE HOME

PURPOSE: Administrative Permit on AP#047-460-017 for a temporary second dwelling to be
located at 50 Gideon Lane, Chico, in the SR -1 (Suburban Residential, 1 acre
minimum) zone.
PERMIT REQUIREMENTS: Approval for a temporary second dwelling is subject to the following
requirements.
1. Occupancy of the mobile home shall be limited to Jacky Ne/ Becker. An affidavit attesting to
the relationship of the involved parties was submitted with the permit application.
2. No rent is to be charged to the occupant of the mobile home.
3. The temporary mobile must meet the requirements of the Butte County Environmental Health
Department for domestic water supply and sewage disposal. The granting of this permit does
not remove the requirement of obtaining the appropriate permits from other Divisions,
Departments or Districts.
4. The siting of the mobile home shall be exempt from the site requirements of the residential
zoning district, except as required by this Section, and the Butte County Code Chapter 28A.
5. The mobile home is declared to be a temporary use on the property, accessory to the primary
unit, and shall not be placed on a permanent foundation. Additionally, a temporary mobile
home shall not be permitted on a lot or parcel where there is an approved Second Unit.
6. The permit shall be granted for a term of two years. Extensions of the term for the permit, not
exceeding one year for each extension, may be granted if the application for the extension is
filed, with the Planning Division, within 60 calendar days prior to the date of expiration.
7. The mobile home shall be vacated upon expiration, or revocation, of the Permit and removed
within one hundred twenty (120) days after expiration of the Permit. If it is not removed within
one hundred twenty (120) days, the County shall remove said mobile home and store it at the
owner's expense.
8. The Permit may be revoked if any of the terms or conditions of the Permit are violated or if any
acts or omissions of the permittee in connection with the use authorized by said Permit
constitute a public nuisance.
9. The applicant must maintain a bond or deposit in the amount of $1,500 for a single -wide
mobile home or $2,000 for a double -wide mobile home.

Drivewav Standards
1273.02 Surface. All driveway surfaces and structures (bridges,

ment the roadway bed or shoulders) shall provide unob-
structed access to conventional drive vehicles, includ-
ing sedans and fire apparatus weighing up to 40,000
pounds.

Under authority of PRC 4290, the following checked items are required
by the Butte County Fire Department and are made a part of this permit.
These requirements are minimums and will be superseded by Butte County
local regulations which equal or exceed these standards. Field
inspections will be made by the Butte County Building Department for
compliance.
[X] 1272.00 Maintenance of Defensible Space. To ensure continued
maintenance of properties in conformance with these
standards and measures and to assure continued avail-
ability, access and utilization of the defensible space
provided for in these standards, annual maintenance
must be provide for by the land owner.
Driveway Standards
(�] 1273.02 Surface. All driveway surfaces and structures (bridges,
\. 1273.07 culverts and other appIrte-tant structures which supple-
ment the roadway bed or shoulders) shall provide unob-
structed access to conventional drive vehicles, includ-
ing sedans and fire apparatus weighing up to 40,000
pounds.
[k] 1273.03 Grade. Not to exceed 16 percent unless paved.
1273.04. Driveway Radius
[�] 1. No roadway shall have a horizontal inside radius of
curvature of less than 50 feet and additional sur-
face width of 4 feet shall be added to curves of 50-
100 feet radius; 2 feet to those from 100-200 feet.
[ 2. The length of ver i^ l curves in roadways exclusive
of gutters, ditches and drainage structures designed
to hold or divert water shall be not less than 100
feet.

I am aware of the provisions of Section3700 of the California Labor Heating
Code which requires every employer to be insured against liability
for Workmen's Compensation.

Workmen's Compensation Insurance.
I certify that in the performance of the work for which this Ventilation
permit is issued I shall not employ any person in any manner
so as to become subject to the Workmen's Compensation Laws of Hood
California.

I certify that I have read this application and state that the above
information is correct. I agree to comply to all County Ordinances
and State Laws relating to building construction, and hereby
authorize representatives of the County of Butte to enter upon the
above-mentioned property for inspection purposes.
