This is a formal warning notice. Pursuant to Butte County Code (BCC) Section 41-2,
we left a Correction Notice dated October 6, 2005, notifying you that you are in violation

Dear Donald and Madie Higgins, and Robert D Higgins:
This is a formal warning notice. Pursuant to Butte County Code (BCC) Section 41-2,
we left a Correction Notice dated October 6, 2005, notifying you that you are in violation
of the Butte County Code, at the above -referenced location. As of this date, the
following violations still exist:
The installing and occupying a travel trailer in the rear of 6389 Cohasset Road,
Chico.

(b) Section 28A-1/1048 Inspections Required for any Plumbing or Electric
(c) Section 24/24-260(a) Camping Limitations and Prohibitions
The above violations(s) shall be corrected or abated by you by case and desist camping

Last December you. helped us with a code violation concerning a person livingi/n a trailer in the
back of a business on Cohasset Road. At that time the property owner wa 'ent a 30 day
s s
violation notice which seemed to, at least, get him off of the fence that separates our two
properties, 6389 Cohasset Road and 112 Rock Creek Rd. The gentleman left, however, someone
else was living in a motorhome far enough away from us that we weren't bothered by them being
there. This situation has changed in the past week. The gentleman is now back living in his
trailer two feet from the fence that divides our properties.
In as much as this is a violation of property zoning regulations and, even if it were zoned for
trailers, the trailer would not be permitted to be two feet from the fence. Is there any thing you
ca.n do, to help us get the zoning regulations enforced?

Dennis and Marian,
We have sent 30 and 10 day violation letters to the owner of the above referenced property as
prescribed by Butte County Code. The owner has retained an attorney to process the eviction
of the tenant of the travel trailer. The attorney has provided us with copies of eviction notices
and superior court summons and complaint documents. The owner and the attorney appear to be
making a concerted effort to evict the tenant and to have the trailer vacated. I just called the
attorney to let him know that if the unit is not vacated in the near future we will proceed to cite,
and was unable to speak to him directly, but left a detailed message. Have not heard back yet.
