It shall be the responsibility of the applicant to provide such data, tests, or other adequate proof that the device, material or product will perform the function for which it is intended, before such item shall be approved or accepted for tests. The State Department of Public Health may publish reports of the results of examinations or investigations conducted pursuant to this section. CALIFORNIA HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE Section 24104. For the purposes of this article, any health officer, or any inspector.of the State department, may at all reasonable times enter all parts of the premises of a public swimming pool to make examination and investigation to determine the sanitary condition and whether this article or the rules and regulations are being voilated. Section 24108. Every person who voilates any provision of this article, or the rules and regulations adopted pursuant thereto, is guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.), or by imprisonment for not more than six months, or both.
