:(B) TANK INSULATION. Storage type water heaters and storage and
backup tanks for solar systems shall be externally wrapped with
R -12 -insulation or greater.

You've Ever Wanted.
HEATMAKER'S sealed combustion system burns gas and
outside air more efficiently, eliminating the consumption of
heated inside air. A breakthrough in the science of heating,
the HEATMAKER saves money and space while providing
both heating and an abundant supply of hot water. Thousands
of operating units have proven to be ideal for single family
dwellings, multi -family homes as well as light commercial
applications.
• Compact copper, low -mass heat exchanger containing
less than one quart of water, gives instant heat response,
while conserving energy between cycles.
• Sealed combustion draws combustion air from outside
and expels exhaust gases. The concentric flue provided
is designed to recover exhaust heat— helping boost the
DOE AFUE ratings to as high as 87%. Heated inside air
normally lost up the chimney, remains in the building.
• Standard electronic ignition eliminates standing pilot light
heat losses and provides fail-safe operation.
• Domestic hot water is delivered instantly and efficiently on
demand. Continuous flow rates at 100°F rise provide as
high as 130 gallons per hour and intermittent rates at 60°F
rise provide as high as 6.8 gallons per minute— up to three
times more continuous delivery than a conventional storage
water heater.
• Hydronic space -heating is drawn from the integrated storage
tank and is delivered only as required by each individual
zone. Dwelling design loads can be accommodated without
oversizing, maintaining sufficient capacity in reserve for
domestic hot water demands.
• HeatMaker can be installed by local tradesmen without
special training and with drastically reduced installation
costs.
• No pulse combustion means quiet operation.
• Non condensing eliminates corrosion and the need for a
condensate pump.
• Space -saving design allows installation anywhere— in
closets, alcoves, on combustible flooring; and it does not
require a chimney— just vent the HeatMaker through the
nearest exterior wall.
• Design certified by A.G.A., meeting ASME "H" code, Section
IV standards, with local approvals across North America

The HeafMaker is certified by A G:A. for installation on combustible
flooring; in alcoves; basements; closets or utility rooms. It mustnot
be installed on carpeting.
The location for the unit should be chosen with regard to venting
dimensions, convenient access to piping, ventilation of operating
components and accessibility for service and cleaning.

LOCATING THE HEATMAKER ,
The HeafMaker is certified by A G:A. for installation on combustible
flooring; in alcoves; basements; closets or utility rooms. It mustnot
be installed on carpeting.
The location for the unit should be chosen with regard to venting
dimensions, convenient access to piping, ventilation of operating
components and accessibility for service and cleaning.
The following dimensions and criteria should be followed when
choosing the location for the unit:
