These requirements are minimums and may be superseded by Butte County local regulations, which equals or exceeds these standards. Butte County Building Inspectors will make compliance inspections. 1272.00 Maintenance of Defensible Snace Measures [X) To ensure continued maintenance of properties in conformance with these standards and measures and to assure continued availability, access, and utilization of the defensible space provided for these standards during a wildfire, provisions for annual maintenance shall be included in the development plans and/or shall be provided as a condition of the permit, parcel or map approval.
