See attached:
SCUSSION OF ENVIROMENTAL EVALIJATON AP 56-08-132
lb,epfo3b1f: Development of, an additional homesite on the subject
property will result in, some disruption, displacement, compaction and
overcovering of the soil, which could lead to an Increase in
stormWater runoff or a change in drainage patterns, resulting in
erosion and possible siltation of surface waters In the area. Due to
the size of the properties, this Is not expected to be a significant
Impact.
lint All of Butte County Is located within a Moderate Earthquake
Intensity Zone VIII. The subject property Is located approximately
4-5 miles northeast of the Tuscan Monoclineg a fault system of unknown
activity. A historical earthquake epicenter occurs In the general
area, with a magnitude of 0.1 to 3.9 on the Richter Scale.
Construction of buildings to Uniform Building Code standards for
seismically active areas should provide adequate protection to
residents in case of seismic activity,
5d: The sub-'ect Property Is located in a noncritical winter deer herd
area. The Department of Fish and GameT has recommended that no new
parcels of less than 20 acres be created In such areas. The two
parcels proposed by the applicant are 20 acres each and ccnform to the
policy supported by the California Department of Fish anc Game.
8,114 The2O-ac-e parcels proposed by the applicant are not subject
to the conditional criteria of the Agricultural-ResIdential
desIgnatloh of the Butte County General Plan. As such; the creation
of 20 -acre parcels In this area conforms to the policies of the Butte
County General Plan.
18: The creation of an additional homes ito on the prop..-rty will add
somewhat to traff'ic on roads In the area. Roads In the area are
generally substandard, and are likely to deteriorate during pariods or,
Inclement weather.
14: Development of additional residential dWellih9s In this remote
area will represent >an Increase In demand for public services In a
rural area. Road maintenance could be affected. It should bo noted
that t -,ho nearest f I re prot,sct I on to the pooerty I s the Cohasset

16b,bt Power and phone 111hes will have to be extended approximately
1/2 mile to the subject property.
17', See the attached comments from the Butte County Mosquito

brchbbblboldtl sensitivity. An archaeologir-bi survey was pdrformed In
