The parcel is within Section 23, T23 N, R2 E, MDB&M and is AP# 56-120-046 .. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The project is to install a mobile home and associated utilities and facilities on the southeastern corner of the parcel. A currently existing septic system will be expanded to meet the needs of the mobile being installed and well will be drilled in the southwestem portion of the parcel and connected to the mobile with an approximately 170 feet of waterline. GENERAL PROJECT AREA DESCRIPTION The parcel is generally well vegetated with pine, cedar, and black oak in both overstory and understory and manzanita in the understory. Ground cover is generally moderate to heavy duff. The parcel slopes downward toward the southwest corner at 15-30%. The area where the house is to be installed is 5% or less in slope. Drainage at this point is to the south toward Maple Lane and southwest toward the comer of Maple Lane and Whispering Pines. The well is to be located near the southwest comer within approximately fifty feet of the intersection. A waterline is proposed to connect the well to the mobile. This waterline will be in an area of 20-30% slope. A septic system was previously installed on the. parcel and there is an existing area of bare soil from this activity. No significant erosional problems have been noted. EROSION HAZARD RATING Considered to be LOW or Very Low. A minimum of two inches of CL H AB will be placed on the driveway. Excavation will be required for the mobile and for additional leach. lines. A double line of fiber rolls will be placed as designated on the map to prevent sediment from reaching Maple Lane. The well area is to have a double line of fiber rolls installed along the contour below the well and storage tank to prevent sediment from reaching the roads below. Installation to conform to handout SE - 5, attached. Any soils excavated shall be removed or compacted on site to prevent fill failure and erosion. The trench for the waterline shall be backfilled and sufficiently compacted to prevent erosion and gully formation. Fiber rolls will be placed at intervals of no more than sixty feet along the route of the waterline and will be aligned with the contour of the slope. All bare soil areas within the project confines will be seeded to stabilize them and retard sediments from moving off site. Seed will be SEC 100 Erosion Control Mix available from Peaceful Valley Farm Supply, P O Box 2209, Grass Valley, CA 95945, (916) 2724769 or equivalent. The SEC 100 mix contains 40% Bland Bromegrass, 51/oZorroFescue, 100/oVetch, 15% Rose Clovers, 20% Crimson Clover, and 10% Subterranean Clovers. Seed is to be evenly spread at 1-3# per 1000 square feet or 35-50# per acre. Seeding is best done after there has been sufficient precipitation to moisten the top several inches of soil. Seeding when the soil is dry reduces the viability of the seed and makes the loss of seed due to bird and rodent activity likely. TIMING of WORK It is expected that all work will be completed by the beginning of the rainy season. No work shall be done during periods of heavy rainfall and/ or when it may be reasonably expected that there may be sufficient surface runoff to carry sediment off the parcel or more than fifty feet, whichever is less. All fiber rolls shall be in place 1) within two weeks after the completion of site work or, 2) before the end of any day when there is a 30% or greater chance of a quarter inch or more of precipitation within the next twenty-four hour period, whichever period is shorter. Seeding shall be completed as soon as there is sufficient soil moisture. CERTIFICATION The site was visited,in the course of preparation of this plan.
