The inspection revealed the followirig'items which must be done or'resolved:. (1) The area is presently zoned as TM -,2 which would allow.up to a 500 sq. ft. guest house (without a kitchen) but not a separate living unit on the. property along with the existing mobilehome. Your proposed floor plan. would comply with this requirement if you removed the present hay shed (living room portion of the building). (2) Provide a continuous concrete foundation around the perimeter of the building. (3) The building must be structurally remodeled to conform to code requirements, including floor and roof construction and wall construction. Exact extent. of remodeling necessary will be determined when plan checking the building plans. (4) Provide window areas equal 1/10 .floor area and 1/2 openable for required light and ventilation to each room. (5) Provide emergency windows from each bedroom,lthe sill of which must be not more than 44" above the floor. The window opening height must be at least 24" and the opening width must be at least 20'" with the net clear openable area equal to at least 5.7 sq. ft. (6) Remove and replace all dry rotted and deteriorated materials throughout the building. (7)' The building must be made weathertite. (8) Provide R-11 insulation in the walls, R-11 insulation under the floor, R-22 insulation in the attic and dual glazing of all windows. (9) Provide.adequate heating and water heating systems. (10) Provide bathroom sink, toilet and tub or shower per code requirements. (11) Provide water supply and sewage disposal systems per the Butte County Health Department requirements.
