violation of the Butte County Code at the above referenced location. As of this
date, the following violations still exist:
Failure to obtain permits, inspections and approvals to install mobilehome
and occupying mobilehome without inspection approval in violation of the
Mobilehome Parks Act of Title 2.5, California Code of Regulations, .adopted
by Section 28A-1 of the Butte County Code as follows:

(b) 1324 Permit Required for Mobilehome Installation_
(c) 1326 Inspection Required'for Mobilehome Installation
The above violation(s) shall be corrected or abated by you by submitting two (2)
complete, sets of plans, applying for the .required permits, and paying the
appropriate fees within thirty (30) days of the date of this letter. After permit
issuance and field authorization to proceed, the work must be completed and
approved by this office`within the permit specified time.
Unless the violation(s) is (are) so_ corrected or abated, a citation shall be

Please be aware that Butte County has entered into a Code Enforcement Program
that seeks voluntary compliance with the Butte County Code but provides
an effective means of enforcement if such compliance is not obtained. If
voluntary compliance is not obtained, enforcement will be pursued through

This office has been advised by one of our building inspectors that you have
Installed a double wide mobilehome on your property.on the Headwaters Road without
the required permits, inspections and approvals from this office.
Io June of 1982, you obtained a permit from this office to relocate the mobilehome
utilities on this property; however, this work has not been inspected and approved
and the permit has expired.
Please contact this office within ten days of the date of this letter, fill out
the attached sheet on both oldest and apply for the Mobilehome Installation permit.
As soon as we issue the required permit, we will 'aspect the Mobilehome Utilities
and Mobilehome Installation to determine if the work complies with code requirements.
if additional work or corrections are necessary on the mobilehome utilities, a
permit will be required to complete the work.

Dear Mr. Zavaretto:
It has been brought to our attention by Mr. Jim Glander, Chief
Building Inspector for the Butte County Public Works Department,
that you have installed a mobilehome on your property located off
Headwaters Road in the Forest,Ranch area, without having obtained
the required permits and inspections.
Section 26-1 of the Butte County Code states that the County
has adopted the 1979 Edition of the Uniform Building Code. The
Uniform Building Code requires that all persons constructing
buildings within the County of Butte, except for agricultural
buildings, are required to obtain a permit from the County Building
Department. Section 26-6 of the Butte County Code states that:
"It shall be unlawful for any person, firm,
or corporation to erect, construct, alter,.
repair, move, remove, improve, convert,
demolish or equip any building or structure
in the unincorporated areas of the County
or to cause the same to be done contrary to
or in violation of any of the provisions of
this chapter.
"The use or occupancy of any building in
violation of any of the provisions of this
chapter is hereby declared to be a public
nuisance and may be abated in a manner
provided by law."
Section 1-7 of the Butte County Code provides that any
violation of any provision of the Code constitutes a misdemeanor,
or in the discretion of the District Attorney, be charged as an
infraction. The penalty for a misdemeanor is punishment by a
fine not exceeding $500.00 or imprisonment. The punishment for
an infraction shall be a fine not to exceed the sum of $500.00.
