Our examination and interpertation oftthe law":ind_icates that this was an illegal division if it did not.have a 601 right of way to a public road or if a parcel �. map ,was not filed giving a variance from the 601 requirement. t 'To our knowledge neither of these circumstances were provided. This does not � make'the problem any easier for Mr. Smith; but; as you can imagine, it does not make it unique as -there are many under the same circumstances. We know of several that are trying to solve the same `circumsta.nce of providing a deeded right of way to an indefinite prescriptive right of way.
