RE: Illegal Mobilehome and Refuse Accumulation - 3515 Hoffman Road, Oroville,
CA / AP# 58-31-005
Dear Mr. Shores:
This department has received complaints alleging illegal camping and/or occupancy
of a mobilehome and accumulation of refuse on the above listed property,.
On March 27, 1986, I visited the area with Tom Hughes of this department to in-
vestigate the complaints. During our visit we were able to observe a trailer, and
refuse accumulation from our vantage point on Hoffman Road.
A review of the Butte'County Department's of Public Health and Public Works's
records revealed no permits for a sewage disposal system, domestic water well,
mobilehome installation, or utilities.
These conditions are in violation of the Butte County Code, Chapter 19, Sections
19-3, Sanitary sewage disposal system required, 19-4 Unlawful sewage disposal
methods, 19-5 Permits Required; Chapter 31, Section 31-8 Refuse Removal; and the
California Administrative Code, Title 25, Chapter 2, Sections 1248, 1270 and 1704
(b)(3) and (11).
To comply take action within THIRTY (30) DAYS from receipt of this notice to
complete the following:
1. Remove the trailer and other illegal structures from the property. Do not
return any trailer, camper, shack or other structures until an approved
sewage disposal system, water supply, and utilities are provided under permits
and inspections from the Butte County Departments of Public Health and Public
Works.
2. Remove all refuse including junk, rubbish and garbage from the property and
dispose of the same at a licensed disposal site.

3. Remove any illegal pit privy or other illegal sewage disposal facility and
backfill the pits or tanks.
4. Obtain a septic tank permit and well permit from the Butte County Department
of Public Health and utility and/or building permits from the Butte County
Department of Public Works, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, CA for the one
dwelling unit permitted on this property.
If you have any questions concerning this notice, contact me at the above listed
address or telephone number.
Failure to comply with this notice will result in this matter being referred to
the proper authorities for further action.

This. Certificate of Compliance is hereby issued by the County
