Should rebuild plans differ from the permitted structures lost in the fire, owners will be credited the permit fees applicable to the permitted loss, but will pay the difference for any additional square footage, etc. Structures whose permitted use has been converted to a non -permitted use after construction will receive fee credit as the type of building that was actually permitted. The same applies to replacing a mobile home with a stick -built home, credit for the existing mobile home would be provided toward permit fees for a stick -built home. Agricultural Exempt permits are no longer valid, and will be permitted as "Limited Agricultural Buildings" as delineated in Butte County Code. PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT Water supply and sewage disposal systems must be adequate for the structures they serve. HAZARDOUS MATERIALS DISPOSAL Must be in accordance with federal, state and local requirements. Even newer construction materials contain asbestos. The Butte County landfill on Neal Road will notify us when materials have been disposed of properly.
