Dear Mr. and Pers. Odom:
This department received a compl a n concerning the discharge of waste
waiver onto the ground at the above listed.rental dwelling. The Butte
County Assessor's records indicate you are the owners of the property.
On December 15, 1983, I visited -the property and the tenant permitted me
.to make an inspection of illegal waste water plumbing. The following
conditions were observed which are in violation of the Butt^ County Code,
Chapter 19, Section 19-4.. Unlawful Sewage Disposal Methods; and the
California Health and Safety Code, Section 17920.3 (a)(14) and (e).
1. ;•caste water from the bath, kitchen sinks, washing machine, and
washroom plumbing discharges on the ground.
2. Waste abater plumbing lacks proper traps and vents.
These conditions shall be corrected as follows and within THIRTY (30)
DAYS from receipt of this.notice. Obtain permits from the Butte County
Department of Public Vlorks. before making the repairs.
1.. All waste water from.the bath, kitchen sinks, washing machine and
washroom shall be carried through proper' -plumbing to the septic tank.
2. All waste water plumbing shall have proper traps and vents and be
properly supported.

A reinspection shall be made, the dwelling shall not be occupied if it
becomes vacant.until all repairs are made. If you have any questions
