The Butte County Assessor's records indicate you are the owner of the property. On February 13, 1986, I visited the property with Tom Hughes, Sanitarian, and the tenant permitted us to inspect the house. The following conditions were noted which.are in violation of the California Administrative Code, Title 25, Chapter 1, Subchapter 1, State Housing Law Regulations (UHC - Section 505 (d); the Butte County Code, Chapter 19, Section 19-4 Unlawful Sewage Disposal Methods; the Uniform Plumbing Code, Section 1001; and the California Health and SAfety Code, Section 17920.3 (a), (b), (d), (e), (f), and (L) and which pose health and safety hazards to the tenants. 1. There is no approved water supply other than a spring or adjoining property, which is periodically shut off by neighbor. 2. Waste water is being discharged from the laundry facility and the bathroom sink onto the ground surface. 3. Front porch does not have adequate railings. 4. Wiring is exposed and in poor repair at fuse box. 5. The water heater has no flue and discharges combustion gas into the kitchen. There is no temperature -pressure relief valve and discharge line on the water heater. There is no gas shut-off valve on the gas service line. The gas line is copper tubing. 6. The kitchen range does not have a shut-off valve on the gas serivice line.
