As you know, the purpose of the Inspection was to determine the items which must be done for minimum housing and safety requirements. The inspection revealed a mobilehome over which has been constructed a ramada with an attached cabana and a covered porch, all of the work was done by previous owners without permits, inspections, and approvals of this office and the Health Department. The following is a list of items which must be done: 1. Install sewage disposal and water supply systems to the mobilehome approved by the Health Department and provide a sanitary seal on the well. 2. Provide a toilet, lavatory, and shower or bath, and a kitchen sink, all properly vented and connected to the sewer and water supply systems. 3. Provide electric power to the*mobilehome and provide each room with proper receptacles and lighting.' 4. Provide a hot water heater. 5. Provide an adequate heating appliance. 6. Provide an approved gas piping system to the mobilehome, a proper shutoff at the mobilehome, and verify proper venting of all gas appliances. 7. The porch must be completely reconstructed. S. Provide properly installed steps and railing for the front and war porches and also the stairs from the lower parking level to the mobilehome level. 9. Extend all vents from the mobilehome through the ramada or meet the require- ments of Title 25, Sections 1488 and 1494. 10. Provide adequate weather protection for the cabana by installing new siding and blocking the eaves. 11. Provide adequate bracing for the ramada and the cabana and provide adequate roof and underfloor ties and bracing. 12. Provide attic ventilation. 13. On July 19, 1978, you came into my office and advised you could not afford the permits. I suggested you pursue several alternatives for financing and advised you must have permits, inspections, and approvals from this office and the Health Department. Since that time, I have not heard from you. Would you please contact this office within -ten (14) days of the date of this letter and advise of your intentions concern- ing this matter. Your failure to resolve these violations in a timely manner will cause me to refer the matter to the proper agency for appropriate action. In addition to not having permit*, we found that you did not have an adequate swags disposal system, chid not have water under pressure, did not have a properly Installed vood stove, did not have proper stairs and handrails, and that many other problems and violations of the provisioner of the Butte Coiunty Code exist.
