September 10, 2004, I sent a letter requesting a Creation Deed. We received a grant deed in
return which did not describe how the property was created. I contacted you by phone on
September 17, 2004 and requested a Creation Deed, at that time you said that you had dropped
on off to someone at the counter. I have asked several of the people here in the department and
no one has any knowledge of this Deed.
In order to approve your request for a building permit for your mobile home, I need a
Creation Deed describing how the property was created. I do not have any record of your
property creation in our department. Please drop-off at 7 County Center Drive, mail, or
fax to 538-7785 a copy of a Creation Deed so that I can approve your mobile home
permit.

SUPPORT REQUIREMENTS
SINGLE WIDE HOMES
The design loads used in selection of the support struc-
ture are set forth in Tables 1 and 2. The loads specified
in the right hand column of these tables are the minimum
values to be used for pier and footing design based on
the indicated roof live load and a floor live load of 40
pounds per square foot (PSF).
Load bearing supports and footings may be subject to
approval by the local enforcement agency. Each pier shall
have* sufficient capacity to support the design loads
specified in Tables 1 or 2. The required dimensions of
footings will depend on soil bearing capacity test results.
In lieu of soil tests, confer with the local Building Authori-
ty for the recommended soil bearing capacity in your
locale. All grass and organic material must be removed
from the area beneath the footings.
The support requirements for homes designed for 40
PSF and higher roof loads (and those specifically indicated
middle -zone homes) are found in the supplement accom-
panying this manual entitled "Manufactured Home In-
stallation for Perimeter Blocking."

1. Footings and piers must be designed to support the loads (right hand column) at the selected spacing.
2. The tabulated pier loads include the indicated live loads plus home dead loads.
3. The maximum spacing of supports shall not exceed 10 feet.
4. Where it is impractical to maintain spacing, such as in the axle. area, the average of the distance to each
adjacent support may be used to determine support requirements: for example, if the distances to the
adjacent supports were 6'-0" and 8'-0" the average spacing would be 7'-0".

The +average spacing for pier B would be 6 + 8/2 = 7 ft. Thereforei pier would be designed for 7 ft. pier spacing.
5. Add -additional -piers -at each—side of a single sidewall opening and between multiple openings (window or door)
larger than 4'-0". The required pier capacity equals 125 Ibs. (145 lbs. @ 16' wide) x opening width (ft.). Additional
piers are to be located at all locations under the floor edge joists that are marked with paint or paper tags.

Under authority of PRC 4290, the following checked items are required by the Butte County Fire
Department and made a part of this permit. These requirements are minimums and will be
superseded by Butte County local regulations which equal or exceed these standards. Field
inspections will be made by the Butte County Building Department for compliance.
[X] 1272.00 Maintenance of Defensible Space. To ensure continued maintenance of
properties in conformance with these standards and measures and to
assure continued avail -ability, access and utilization of the defensible
space provided for in these standards, annual maintenance must be
provided for by the land owner.
Driveway Standards
[X] 1273.02 Surface. All driveway surfaces and structures 1273.07 (bridges,
culverts and other appurtenant structures which supplement the roadway
bed or shoulders) shall provided unobstructed access to conventional
drive vehicles, including sedans and fire apparatus weighing up to
40,000 pounds.
[X] 1273.03 Grade. Not to exceed 16 percent unless paved.
1273.04 Driveway Radius
[X] 1. No roadway shall have a horizontal inside
radius of curvature of less than 50 feet and additional surface
width of 4 feet shall be added to curves of 50-100 feet radius; 2
• feet to those from 100-200 feet.

exclusive of gutters, ditches and drainage structures designed to
hold or divert water shall be not less than 100 feet.
[X] 1273.05 Turnarounds. If required, will have a minimum
turning radius of 40 feet from the center of the road.
[X] 1273.05 Turnouts. Shall be a minimum of 10 feet wide and 30 feet long with a
minimum 25 foot taper on each end.
[X] 1270.10 Width. All driveways shall provide a minimum 10 foot traffic lane and
unobstructed vertical clearance of 15 feet along its entire length.

[X] 1273.10 Turnouts. Driveways exceeding 150 feet in length,
but less than 800 feet in length, shall provide a turnout near the midpoint
of the driveway. Where a driveway exceeds 800 feet, turnouts shall be
provided no more than 400 feet apart.
1273.11 Gates
[X] 1.. Gate entrances shall be at least two feet wider than the roadway
it serves.
2. The gates must be located at least 30 feet from the roadway and
shall open to, allow a vehicle to stop without obstructing traffic on
the roadway.

1276.01 Setback for Structure Defensible Space
[X] 1. All parcels 1 acre and larger shall provide a minimum 30 foot
setback for buildings and accessory buildings from all property
lines and/or the center of the road.
[ ] 2. For parcels less than 1 acre, local jurisdiction shall provide for
the same practical effect. See other requirements below.
[X] 1276.02 Disposal of Vegetation and Fuels. Disposal, including chipping, burying,
burning or removal to a landfill site approved by the local jurisdiction, of
flammable vegetation and fuels caused by site development and
construction, road and driveway construction and fuel modification shall

of a building permit.

D. 14 FEET FOR TRIPLE WIDES
2. FOR ANY COACH SIZE OTHER THAN AS SHOWN ON THIS PLAN OR REFERENCED ABOVE.
LAYOUT SHALL BE REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY ROCK SOLID ENGINEERING.
INSPECTION REQUIREMENTS:
I. THE DESIGN OF THIS SYSTEM IS BASED ON STANDARD MANUFACTURED HOMES AS
BUILT BY THE MANUFACTURER. SITE BUILT ADDITIONS SUCH AS GARAGES AND
SECONDARY ROOFS HAVE NOT BEEN INCLUDED IN THIS DESIGN.
2. ALL DIMENSIONS INCLUDED ON THIS PLAN, INCLUDING COACH SIZE, ROOF HEIGHT AND
PIER HEIGHT, SHOULD BE FIELD VERIFIED BY THE LOCAL BUILDING OFFICIAL ANY
DISCREPENCIES SHOULD BE IMMEDIATELY BROUGHT TO THE ENGINEER'S ATTENTION.
3. THE BUILDING PAD SHOULD BE INSPECTED TO ENSURE THAT PROPER DRAINAGE
