The Development Services Department, with the assistance of your emergency services, currently is assigning PERMANENT HOUSE NUMBERS to all residences and businesses in the unincorporated territory of the county. The address numbering system will replace the various rural route numbers previously used. Each residence and place of business will have its own address, even if you receive mail at the post office. Your old address was 13756 Hwy 70, Oroville and two Unassigned and your PERMANENT ADDRESS is 13762 Hwy 70, Oroville (foreman's house) & 13880 Hwy 70, Oroville (cottage) and is effective January 29, 2007. In order to facilitate the delivery of mail, it is the responsibility of each individual property owner or resident to file a change of address card with the post office; also please notify all utility companies, magazine subscription publishers, County Assessor's Office, etc., and friends and family you wish to advise of your address change.
