The permit fees are as follows: Well $20.00; septic system for a house ;$10.00; for a mobile $5.00. Each lot is reviewed individually with respect to the septic system, topography, and the soil type. It would be in your best interest to make an appointment with one of us so that we may meet you or your representative on your property, review your project and soil conditions, and then make recommendations as to how to complete your project. We do not have copies of the building code and a copy of your letter has been forwarded to the Butte County Building Department with the expecta- tion that they may have a building code available. Please send the necessary forms. or applications or describe how I may obtain them.. I tentatively would like to install the septic tank this summer 1980; then drill the well or install an alternative water system, and. begin..construction on the house in 1981. Is this plan possible from your standpoint? Must plans for the house itself be submitted at the time the request. for the septic tank approval?. If you have literature, instructions, or county ordinances relating to septic tanks, wells,or alternative water suoplies please comment and tell me 'the cost so I can send a money order'to you for these. I also would like to know the cost of the 7'utte County Building Code, and when the 1'80 edition will be available.
