BUTTE COUNTY JUN 16 2005 Director of Development Services DEVELOPMENT 6/14/2005 SERVICES Attached is a copy of the first complaint sent to Department of Development Services on 4/28/05. There is a couple living on the property at 179 Deer Meadow Berry Creek, not a legal address but is posted as 179. Parcel # 061-630-012-000. They have 50+ cars on tshis property. It is not only an eye sore but it is an environmental hazard. The owner's are living on the property and have done clearing on acres of the land to make room for all the junk cars they have. As of now, nothing has been done because they brought three more cars on to the property just this week. _Don't they have to have approval to disturb that much land? Don't they need a special permit to have that many cars? I hope something will be done about this matter. I have been looking into this matter and under VC 22660 and 22664 they can not have all these broken down vehicles on their property. They have an elderly relative living there with no facilities to take care of him. They are taking his money but not providing proper care for him. The letter was anonymous because these people have veryviolent contacts. All you have to do is drive by and you can see many of the vehicles, a home, rv's but they have .attempted to hide most of them. You can also see the excavation that has been done. Major cross street is Encina Grande. A Floyd and Tami Bailey own it. They have a 24.81 -acre lot. It is the only lot of its size on Deer Meadow. The owners have dozens of vehicles on the property.
